HUNTING:
17 different big game species are available and also dove and pigeon shooting.

Hunting takes place on it's 5,000 acres of bush land where a variety of game live. Open areas are normally planted with corn to help spot the Red Deer bulls and the big herds of Water Buffalo.
Day starts before sun rise. Hunters are driven in our vehicles to the hunting areas or where most game has been spotted, where we wait for the first light of the day. Then walking takes place while stalking the desired species. On mid day luch is served at the lodge and after a "siesta" hunters go back to the field to stalk animals until dark.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
We have a total of 8 luxury rooms and 1 exclusive suite, all distributed in 5 bungalows all finely decorated with wood-logs furniture. Our guests will find the following services in our lodge:

When I arrived I was served a light lunch of egg plant ravioli parcels with a luscious Malbec that would not have been out of place if the meal had been served at the Roux Brothers Waterside Inn, near Windsor, in England. After that the food got just better and better.

TRANSPORTATION TO HUNTING AREA
From any country hunters fly to Buenos Aires International Airport where you will be met by our staff.
Transportation to the ranch can be done in commercial flights or in our own aircrafts.
Commercial flights: to city of Santa Rosa, La Pampa, serviced by Aerolineas Argentinas on their Boeings 737 only on Wednesdays, departing from BA at 1.15pm. Cost is aprox. US$300 round trip.
Charter Planes:
Piper Navajo is a 5 passenger, twin engine aircraft. Cruise speed is 200 miles/hour (flight time to the ranch is 1.45 hours).
Piper Cherokee SIX is a 3 passenger, single engine aircraft. Cruise speed is 145 miles/hour
Location in Argentina
La Colorada is located 450 miles (700km) from Buenos Aires, our capital city. Nearest city is Santa Rosa, located 60 miles (90km) North-East from the ranch.
The Trophies
Red Deer
La Colorada has produced the biggest red deer trophies in South America including the Number one in the CIC Record Book, and incredible 279 points trophy that weighted 34 lbs dry. Also in the SCI Recordbook we have taken several places in the top ten.
